Open day to mark end of three-year project

AN open day will be held at Allhallows Museum in Honiton on Saturday to mark the completion of a three-year project.

AN open day will be held at Allhallows Museum in Honiton on Saturday to mark the completion of a three-year project.Volunteers spent over 11,000 hours working on a Heritage Lottery Grant project, A Future for Our Past.The open day aims to show what has been achieved and give a unique opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes in the museum.Entry to the museum will be free between 11am and 4pm, and visitors will get the chance to see a rare, local Victorian military uniform as part of a tribute to Honiton's military past.South West Airfields Heritage Trust will be displaying photographs of the area's wartime airfields and a living history group will represent the Devon Regiment during World War Two.
