A MALE was arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the supply of class A drugs during a police operation to combat rural burglaries in the Honiton area.

A MALE was arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the supply of class A drugs during a police operation to combat rural burglaries in the Honiton area.Officers from Honiton took part in a joint operation with officers from Somerset and Dorset between Monday and Friday last week.PC Clive Vickery, Neighbourhood Beat Manager for Honiton Rural, said: "During March, rural East Devon suffered a spate of thefts from outbuildings. Due to that and the concerns raised through the PACT process from rural communities, this operation was instigated."A large number of vehicles were stop-checked during the operation and some were seized.
