STAFF at Iceland in Honiton in launched their fundraising week for Alder Hey Children's Hospital with a sponsored wax, held at The Volunteer Inn.

No harm came to any of Iceland's male workers, who participated in the event. However, there were some cries of pain and even the odd tear in their eyes.

A stall, staff fancy dress day and customer competitions are all part of the week, which will conclude with store manager, Belinda, launching herself out of plane during a tandem skydive on Friday (August 28).

Iceland would like to thank Christine Watson, of The Volunteer, and pub regulars for their generosity.
