ALL Saints Primary School has been rated 'outstanding' in a recent Ofsted report.

The inspector praised the school's five values of 'peace, love, truth, righteousness and respect' - and said they were evident in the pupils' development and attitude.

The report said: "All Saints is an outstanding school. It has a very inclusive ethos where all pupils have an equal opportunity to develop in the broadest sense and to reach their full potential."

Head teacher Christine Hollidge said: "Of course we are all thrilled - the challenge now is to maintain the outstanding provision and outcomes for all our children."

Chairman of Governors Dr Graham Watts said: "The governors of All Saints are delighted with the school being judged 'outstanding' by Ofsted and would like to publicly congratulate all staff and, in particular, Mrs Hollidge, the head teacher, for this wonderful achievement."

In the report, children's comments included: "This is a very happy school with good values.
