THE Seaton and Axmouth Branch of Cancer Research UK collected �2,500 last year.
Chairman Dr Bastin presented the cheque to area manager Dawn Harrison.
The group, which has been running for 55 years, has raised a total of �583,646 in total.
Member Paula Vickers said: "We are very proud to have raised this amount of money for the charity and again would like to thank all of the loyal supporters and helpers and all of those people who generously donated goods for us to sell at our various events.
