Emergency services sent to crossroads on old A30.
Fire crews from Ottery St Mary and Exeter were sent to Pattesons Cross on the old A30 following a report of an overturned car.
People were reported to be trapped in the vehicle, but all were clear of the wreckage when emergency services arrived.
The accident happened at 8.41pm on Christmas Eve.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters made the vehicle safe before leaving the scene.
