AXMINSTER town and rural policing team wants to know residents' concerns - and tackle them.People can raise issues at a series of Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings over the next two months.PACT was formed for the police to address the community's needs and make them priorities.Neighbourhood beat manager PC Darren Herridge said: "This is an opportunity for the community to gather together and raise problems that they see affecting life for the residents of the town."It does not have to be a policing problem, as the other agencies responsible for the smooth running of the town are also involved, as the name suggests. The Axminster town meeting will be held on Friday, June 19, at The Guildhall, in West Street. The rural meetings will be held in village halls, and at the Hitchcock Pavillion, in Kilmington. The full list of dates and times appear on the Herald's website. If for any reason you are not able to attend but would like an issue raised, contact Pc Bennett on 08452 777444.
