The incident happened at 2.40pm today (Thursday).

A parachutist has been flown to hospital after colliding with a stationary vehicle at Dunkeswell Airfield.

A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said a call was received at 2.40pm today (Thursday, August 27).

Both a land and air ambulance attended the scene. The casualty was in a stable condition and flown to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
