AXMINSTER Primary School is on alert after reports of a man offering pupils a lift.Notices have been sent out to parents urging children and adults to be vigilant - and for the 'stranger danger' message to be reinforced.The man, described as middle-aged with grey hair, was said to be stopping pupils and offering them a lift.One parent, who does not wish to be named, said: "We were handed the notices on Thursday. "I'm concerned that this is going on, but we think the school has acted responsibly."A similar, verbal warning was given to students at The Woodroffe School last week.
