A NEW village shop was among the 'wants' in Stockland when parishioners contributed their views to a survey of local needs.

A NEW village shop was among the 'wants' in Stockland when parishioners contributed their views to a survey of local needs.Housing, transport and social events were other hot topics.The village hasn't had a shop for around 20 years and recent research shows villagers are willing to support a new venture.After years of consultation the Stockland Parish Plan, a 20-page document, will be officially launched in the Victory Hall on Saturday, April 5.An exhibition of historic photographs will be on display during the drop-in event, along with displays relating to some of the topics in the plan.The launch will take place from 11am to 5pm.Refreshments will be available.
