It is a matter of value for money and there is not enough choice of shops or anything else to warrant paying �1 for parking - 50p an hour and I wouldn't bat an eyelid.
If I have to pay, then I will simply drive to Exeter.
Council tax bills wouldn't have to be so high either, if the councils actually spent the money where needed, instead of on daft projects like this community centre that few really want.
