PARKING charges, except in lower Dowell Street, have increased and Honiton Town Council wants to know why there was no consultation.

PARKING charges, except in lower Dowell Street, have increased and Honiton Town Council wants to know why there was no consultation.East Devon District Council is to introduce a minimum parking fee of 50p and the hourly charge in short stay car parks will rise to 85p from next Monday. District councillor Peter Halse has said the rise is in line with inflation and that council tax bills would be higher without revenue from car parks.
