Parking wardens 'lying in wait'

DISTRICT council parking wardens are lying in wait from 7.50am - to catch out local residents who leave their vehicles in car parks overnight, according to Councillor Ron Farnham.

DISTRICT council parking wardens are lying in wait from 7.50am - to catch out local residents who leave their vehicles in car parks overnight, according to Councillor Ron Farnham.He told district councillor Peter Halse at a meeting on Monday that the wardens were ready and waiting in Lace Walk car park to start issuing tickets at 8am."Is East Devon District Council so hard up?" he asked.Councillor Halse suggested he take a photograph of the wardens lying in wait. "You let me see that and I'll deal with it," he told Councillor Farnham.
