The A30 between Yarcombe and the Devonshire Inn, in Upottery, will be shut from 7pm until 7am.

The work is part of the Government’s 2014 Road Investment Strategy (RIS), which is committed to turning the A30/A303 into a strategic corridor for the South West.

It includes three major schemes and the inclusion of smaller scale improvements between Honiton and Southfields.

Transport bosses say diversions will be in place from the point of the closed A30 road.
