Honiton shows its support for the Royal Military Police.

PARTY GOERS in Honiton turned out in force to an army-themed party in Honiton in support of a sponsored bike ride being undertaken by the Royal Military Police.

The fancy dress event at the Royal British Legion Club in Dowell Street raised £230, which will be split between the Royal Military Police Benevolent Fund and the legion’s poppy appeal.

Samantha Salter, who helped organise the event to support her brother Ben as he cycles from Lands End to John O’Groats, said she was pleased with how the event went, which was supported by many local people in the town.
