Ambulance staff needed assistance near Honiton.

Two fire crews from Honiton were needed to assist paramedics in removing an elderly female patient from a car.

Hydraulic rescue equipment was used to extricate the pensioner from a vehicle on the A30, between Monkton and Cloverleaf, at 7.43pm on Tuesday.

The woman was left in the care of ambulance staff.
