THE Herald would like to clarify that a photograph of Axminster Pc Darren Herridge, used to illustrate an article defending the force s treatment of rape cases, was a file photo.
THE Herald would like to clarify that a photograph of Axminster Pc Darren Herridge, used to illustrate an article defending the force's treatment of rape cases, was a file photo.
Pc Herridge said the police do take rape cases seriously, despite a fall in the proportion of suspects being convicted.
The photo was not intended to make light of his comments.
