PCSO seizes driver's car

HALLOWEEN was not so lucky for one driver, whose car was seized by a Lyme Regis PCSO in Sidmouth Road, after being seen being driven carelessly.

HALLOWEEN was not so lucky for one driver, whose car was seized by a Lyme Regis PCSO in Sidmouth Road, after being seen being driven carelessly.A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "The vehicle was seized because it had been driven in a careless manner, which was causing alarm, distress or annoyance."The driver had already had a warning [under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002] in the past 12 months, meaning this latest incident involved the seizure of the driver's vehicle.
