POLICE Community Support Officers spent three days in a Honiton school giving children BikeAbility lessons before the summer holiday.
More than 40 Year 6 pupils at Honiton Community Primary School benefitted from the safety advice offered by Darren England, Phil Anning and Barry Redford.
PCSO England said: "They were taught how to check their bikes, wear appropriate clothing and to ride their bikes in a safe and controlled manner.
"Training was done on roads as well as in the playground.
"All the pupils passed the course and have been given a Devon County Council certificate.
