Railway enthusiasts got the chance to let off steam during Peco Loco Week.

Beer Heights Light Railway invited a host of guest locomotives to ensure a bumper service for visitors to enjoy.

This included the reintroduction of the ‘Wildway Shuttle’, taking passengers from the seldom used ‘Little Moore’ platform out to ‘Deepwater Station’ in the Wildway Woods. A host of demonstration goods trains and double-headed passenger trains were also seen throughout the event, culminating in 11 steam locomotives and two diesels fired up simultaneously on the final Sunday.
