AN AXMINSTER club has made its television debut - with a 30 second clip on the BBC.The Axe Valley Pedallers travelled to London for a day of filming for the indent, which links one television programme to the next. The four men were among 75 cyclists who expect to be on our TV screens most nights for the next few months.Axe Valley Pedaller member Alistair Cope said the cyclists wore an array of colours, creating a kaleidoscope affect. "I was wearing pink in one scene - which isn't my favourite colour," he said."It was a long day and tiring, considering that only 30 seconds of film was produced. "It was a rather grey and damp day and if it stopped raining they introduced artificial rain. But it was good fun, especially as there were a few of us."He said a member suggested they try out for the indent after they saw the BBC were asking for extras - but was surprised when they were selected.
