Smallridge runner, aged 69, raises £500 for a worthy cause thanks to help from Axminster Rotary Club

A 69-year-old Smallridge man who completed a tough running challenge for a worthy cause was congratulated by members of Axminster Rotary Club when he attended their recent meeting.

Peter Blagden, who completed the Great Western Half Marathon in, Exeter, for HospisCare, thanked the club for its fund raising support, which, in total, amounted to over £500 for the charity.

President Ian Crawford congratulated him on his achievement.
