EAST Devon District Council is putting its pest control contract out to tender – and is inviting interested businesses to contact them.
The council deals with around 1,100 requests for treatment per year, which it subsidises so residents only have to pay �20 plus VAT.
The most frequently reported pest is rats. The closing date by which tenders have to be submitted is September 10 and the new one-year contract starts on November 1.
