Tesco Trolley Dash for Devon Freewheelers
The doors of the Honiton Tesco store were opened a little bit earlier on Sunday morning for a special customer. Margaret Williams took her place for the trolley dash which she won in the Devon Freewheelers’ charity raffle prize draw. Helped by the store’s Community Champion Kim Hutchinson and cheered on by Tesco staff and Devon Freewheelers, Margaret managed to fill her trolley with over £270 worth of shopping, just the ticket for Christmas. However the real winners from this event were the Devon Freewheelers who benefitted from the £1,306 raised.
