Organiser hopes to build on the “positives” to make the event an annual part of the town’s Christmas festivities.
The organiser of Honiton’s first late-night shopping event in years has described it as “a great success”.
Reflecting on last night’s event, Wendy Le Masurier said: “There was a lovely Christmas atmosphere in the town.
“The market and shops pulled out all the stops, with mulled wine and mince pies in abundance.
“This all helped to create a fantastic shopping evening.
“Up to 40 shops and 20 market stalls took part, exceptional support.”
Wendy, who organised the event on behalf of Honiton and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, says she hopes to build on the “positives” to make the event an annual part of the town’s Christmas festivities.
She thanked everyone who supported the event, including The Amycrofters, carol singers, Honiton Twirlstars and, of course, Santa.
