Hundreds of people lined the streets and Windsor Gardens in Seaton on Sunday for the unveiling and dediacation ceremony of a memorial
to thank the people of Seaton for all they did for the soldiers of the 2nd Battalion,8th Infantry Regiment and 4th Infantry Division who left these shores to be the first allied units on the beaches of Normandy.
