Hundreds of visitors gathered in the warm sunshine at Wiscombe Park near Honiton on Sunday to watch members of the Vintage Sports-Car Club race their cars up the 915 metre hill climb track.

Vehicles dating back to the early 1900’s tackled the popular course taking in such features as Bunny’s Leap and the Martini Hairpin at the top of the hill.

Spectators were treated not only to the warm weather but an array of classic and vintage vehicles ranging from a 1903 60 horsepower Mercedes driven by Roger Collings to a brace of sporty MG’s, not forgeting Christopher Williams’ incredible twenty-four thousand cc Napier Bentley dating from 1929.
