Preparations for this year’s Charter Day in Honiton are well under way.

The event will be held on Saturday, July 23, and will have the theme of the Wild West. Gary Elliot, chair of Honiton Charter Day Committee, said: “We have signed up some exciting musical groups to perform in the High Street, a dog show, children’s rides, acts to perform at Allhallows Field, charity stalls and the classic car show, which is put on by Honiton Lions.”

The Honiton Charter Day Committee is welcoming new members to help plan this year’s event. Anyone interested should get in touch with Mr Elliott by emailing him at garyelliot@talktalk.net
