Plans to transform floor of Axminster Carpets into gymnastics centre

Plans have been submitted to transform a first floor carpet showroom in Axminster into a gymnastics centre.

Applicant Emma Rowe wants to set up the facility at Axminster Carpets Factory Outlet in Abbey Gate to act as Axminster Gymnastics Club’s new venue.

She says the club’s current venue is now ‘maxed out’, with several youngsters still on the waiting list to join the not-for-profit group.
