Support in full bloom for Honiton and District Hospiscare Support Group.

Plants of every colour and shape went on sale in Honiton to help raise money for Hospiscare.

The Honiton and District Hospiscare Support Group raised £750 at a plant sale held at Honiton Baptist Church on Saturday, May 18.

Organiser Sue Gibson told the Midweek Herald: “It went very well and we had a very good morning weatherwise.”

Plants were donated by Homebase, Mole Avon, Honiton Garden Centre and Sundial Garden Centre – and individuals brought along their own plants to donate on the day.

The event enjoyed a good turnout, and Mrs Gibson added: “I want to thank everyone that contributed and everyone that that came along to buy and those who spent the morning selling and helping us. We are very, very grateful.”
