Thirteen million red envelopes, 300,000 volunteers tramping the streets and thousands of sponsored events can only mean one thing; Christian Aid Week!
Launched in 1957, it is famous for its distinctive red envelopes dropping through letterboxes. One Week and 22,000 churches working together in harmony to help some of the world's poorest people.
Christian Aid Week runs from May 9 - 15 and volunteers from local churches will be making the house-to-house collection in Seaton.
Please give a word of encouragement to our hard-working collectors when they call and please give as generously as you can, in these difficult times.
Please also come to our coffee morning in the URC Hall in Cross Street, Seaton, at 10am on Friday, May 14. Thank you.
