I can't understand how complacent the government has become over the closures of rural Post Offices. How can they say there is no need for them? Do they realise it is the lifeline for so many people? It has become a vital part of the village life. I guess

I can't understand how complacent the government has become over the closures of rural Post Offices.How can they say there is no need for them?Do they realise it is the lifeline for so many people?It has become a vital part of the village life.I guess the government expects the older person to get a computer!Who created this wonderful system of internet or, more to the point, who started the direct debit?We are told we must move on. We seem to take one step forward and fall back ten.To expect the elderly to cope with computers in their twilight years. Life made easy for whom?So, the rural Post Offices are costing the taxpayers so much money but it is a worthy cause.
