The marquees are already up as the Axe Vale Festival team prepares to stage another two day spectacular.

This year’s event, on the Axminster showground, off Trafalgar Way, takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and 26.

The main arena is host to an exciting programme of events guaranteed to thrill and entertain. This year’s entertainers include Adrenaline Tour, Rockwood Dogs and Adam’s Axemen, ready to ‘wow’ the crowds.

Adrenaline Tour will perform an awesome show of Quad and Motorcycle stunt riding starring Jason Smyth.

Rockwood Dogs will amaze with their courage, agility, comedy routines and tricks.

And Adams Axemen will delight you with their forestry expertise performed by a team that were born to entertain!

Live music at the bandstand featuring talented local acts will keep feet tapping and visitors can watch demonstrators showcasing their practical and creative skills on the showground throughout the weekend.

The history of this family friendly festival is firmly rooted in gardening and crafts and enthusiasts will not be disappointed this year with plants for sale as well as the wonderful floral marquee to browse.

The return of other main marquees including the sale of quality local produce in the food hall, the workmanship of the exhibitors in the toys and hobbies marquee, the ever popular crafts marquee and the memories and bargain hunting that a visit to the antiques, retro and vintage marquee brings, helps to make this local festival truly unique.

Shoppers will also find a wide array of trade stands on offer and children are well catered for with entertainment and lots of ice cream!

Admission on show days is: Adults £9, under 16’s £2, under 5’s free.
