Honiton Community College receives prestigious award

POLAR explorer Ann Daniels has presented Honiton Community College with a prestigious award for being an Investor in Work Related and Enterprise Learning.

POLAR explorer Ann Daniels has presented Honiton Community College with a prestigious award for being an Investor in Work Related and Enterprise Learning.

College principal Norman Tyson, Lynda Price, head of the college's governors and students were among those to receive the award during an event at St Melolion International Resort, in Cornwall.

Staff Carol Bennett and Sue Miller were joined by students Jack Retter, Andrew Olive, Tommy Gillard and Stephanie Sparks at the event.

The students gave a confident talk about two areas of the new Year 7 curriculum during the ceremony.
