Police appeal after charity tub taken from Honiton shop

An appeal for information has been launched by police after a charity collection tub was stolen from a Honiton shop.

The tub was taken from WHSmith, in High Street, on Thursday, November 11, at 11.52am.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “A white male has entered the shop and removed the Poppy Appeal charity tub.

“There is CCTV of the offence, which we are looking at as part of the investigation.”

Anyone who witnessed the offence is asked to call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101, quoting crime number CR/077922/16.
