Thieves trigger alarm but get away with Sthil hedge trimmer

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at Dalwood.

Thieves broke into an outbuilding at a house on the village’s western flank at around 9.30pm on Monday, February 4.

Although they set off an alarm they got away with a Sthil hedge cutter with a distinctive bent cutting bar and an EX13 post code engraved on it.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Axminster police on 101 quoting crime reference KA13/65
