Nationwide hunt for missing man.

POLICE have launched a nationwide appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of a convicted sex offender.

The appeal has been launched on behalf of Wiltshire Police who have been unable to locate 64-year-old David Glynn of Salisbury, who was convicted of indecent assault against a young woman in 1995.

He failed to inform police of where he was staying on several occasions, which he is required to do under the terms of his sentence.

The police are also looking to trace Glynn’s wife, Terri Glynn, who may have information on his whereabouts.

Police also believe he may have set up business as a natural therapy practitioner.

Glynn and his wife have been known to use the aliases Brian Irwin, Teresa Wood and Terri Day.

Acting Detective Inspector Mike Selbie said: “I am appealing for anyone who has information on the whereabouts of David Glynn or his wife, Terri, to contact me.

“It may be that they have travelled abroad, which has happened previously.

“I would like to make it clear that Terri is not wanted for any offence, but I am keen to locate her as she may have information regarding David’s location.

“I’d also like to appeal directly to David, because it is important that he realises the seriousness of failing to comply with the registration requirements and I urge him to make contact with police.”

He added: “Whenever a convicted sex offender cannot be traced there is obviously an increased risk of that person reoffending and, whilst we have not got any specific information that indicates that he has done, it is clearly important that we do everything possible to try and locate him.”

Anyone with information can call DI Selbie on 0845 408 7000 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
