Police called after alleged attempted fraud in Honiton

The incident took place this morning at HSBC Bank, in High Street.

Police in Honiton are searching for a man following an alleged incident attempted fraud this morning (Wednesday).

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to HSBC Bank, in Honiton High Street, and are still searching for the suspect.

The police helicopter was also deployed to search the undergrowth, before standing down.

Police officers are continuing to make local enquiries.
