Man, 52, taken to hospital and detained under the Mental Health Act
Officers from British Transport Police were called to Honiton railway station yesterday (Thursday) after concerns about a man’s welfare.
A 52-year-old man was located in the car park at the station and taken to Heavitree Hospital in Exeter, where he was detained under the Mental Health Act
Transport officers were accompanied by colleagues from Devon and Cornwall police during the incident which was reported at around 10.15am.
