Multi-agency operation carried out in Honiton.

Honiton’s Neighbourhood Policing Team has been clamping down on unsafe vehicles, traffic offences and illegal fuel.

Officers conducted a traffic operation near the Turk’s Head junction and were assisted by HM Customs and Excise and the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA).

During the operation, which was carried out on Friday, August 15, 46 vehicles were stopped - one vehicle was found with ‘red diesel’, which was dealt with by HM Customs and Excise, two drivers were reported for traffic offences by the police and 11 vehicle prohibitions were issued by VOSA.
