Three people seen loading wood into a trailer near Uplyme

Police are hunting three people in connection with the theft of a large pile of logs from a wooded area near Uplyme on Tuesday of last week (October 23).

Axminster Police Community Support Officer Andy Trott said the wood had been left on land alongside the B3165, between the Yawl Hill turning and Burrowshot.

A woman reported seeing three people loading it onto a trailer. at around 4.15pm.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Axminster police by calling 101 and quoting reference number KA12 546
