Originally from Plymouth, he had lately been living in Seaton with his young family.

Richard was described by his family as loving father, brother and son who was very proud of his time serving in 26 Royal Engineers. He was always willing to help anyone in need and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He was a genuinely good guy, with a heart of gold who will be sorely missed by all his family and friends.
