OF the 68 crimes recorded by police in Honiton between November 9 and December 14 one involved an assault on a constable.

Other alleged offences included 13 cases of criminal damage, four assaults, two counts of public disorders and two house burglaries.
Police also dealt with two drugs offences and two thefts from motor vehicles.
