AS detectives investigating a sex attack on a man in Honiton made a second appeal for information, an e-fit of one of the suspects was released.Revised details of the attack have been made public following further interviews with the victim.The 26-year-old was seriously assaulted in Beech Road, Honiton, at about 8.45pm on Thursday, March 26.He is so traumatised, he has been unable to work since the attack.Two men are being hunted in connection with the assault, which is being investigated by Devon and Cornwall Constabulary's major investigation team.Acting Detective Inspector Darran Hill, who is leading the inquiry, said: "We are hopeful someone locally will recognise the man pictured in the e-fit or might have seen a red van in the area at the time."We have already carried out extensive enquiries and have a large investigation team working on this incident, but we are keen to speak to anyone who may have that important piece of information to identify the offenders."The 26-year-old victim of this crime has been left traumatised and unable to work since."Police believe a piece of rope was used to hold the victim around his neck during the ordeal and that he was bundled into a dark, red-coloured van.Detectives are now hoping the picture and further information will lead to vital information coming from the local community.The two suspects are both white men.
