Axminster officers hope to reunite stolen garden ornament with its owner

Police at Axminster have taken a concrete dog into custody.

The garden ornament – a likeness of a hound in a begging position - was handed in by a member of the public after apparently being taken from outside a local house.

Officers say they will happily reunite it with its owners if they care to call them on 101, quoting crime reference number A/60611
