POLICE are warning shoppers in Honiton not to buy goods from people who approach them in the street.

POLICE are warning shoppers in Honiton not to buy goods from people who approach them in the street. Two males, of eastern European appearance, were taken to the town's police station last Thursday afternoon after it was reported they had stopped a member of the public and tried to sell them something. Items were confiscated and the men were later sent on their way.
