Rowdy man arrested and issued with �80 fixed penalty notice for disorder

A 22-year-old man was arrested and fined after police were called to disturbance in Colyton.

He was with a group of “rowdy men” who were upsetting residents in Coly Road at around midnight on Friday (May 13).

Police tried to calm them but one local man continued shouting and swearing at officers. He was arrested and later issued with an �80 fixed penalty notice for disorder.

Seaton police officer PC Steve Speariett said: ”We will not tolerate any anti-social behaviour and where evidence exists we will take positive action against those who think it is acceptable to cause annoyance to the community.”
