Police in Seaton have been tackling road safety issues as part of a new community campaign.
POLICE in Seaton are working with the community in a bid to keep the roads safe.
A community speed watch scheme has been set up with local people trained to use police speed detection devices.
The scheme so far has resulted in 75 vehicles being checked with only two exceeding the speed limit.
A police spokesperson said: “Our aim is to keep Seaton roads safe.”
Seaton’s local policing team has also been tackling issues of road safety around rural schools in the area.
They have been conducting high visibility patrols and speaking to drivers about safe parking around schools to ensure the safety of the children.
