SNOW caused a tailback of cars on the A35 east bound near the Lyme Regis junction last week.Up to 40 vehicles were said to be stuck in snow during the morning rush hour last Friday.The road had to be re-gritted on Tuesday and Friday, with drivers waiting around half an hour each time.PC Darren Herridge thanked Neville and Sarah Causley, of the Hunters Lodge Inn, in Charmouth Road, for opening up early so people could take shelter.
