POLICE in Honiton will continue to enforce speed limits in the town after recent checks found motorists exceeding them.

POLICE in Honiton will continue to enforce speed limits in the town after recent checks found motorists exceeding them. Pc Ian Atyeo told Honiton Town Council last week that residents had complained about vehicle speeds, through the Partners and Communities Together (PACT) initiative. "We've been out recently, conducting speed checks," he said.

"Quite a few residents were stopped and given verbal warnings. Sadly, a few were also given fixed penalty tickets for £60.
